Director of Philanthropy Department

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Philanthropy Department as Director. This key role will be responsible for driving our fundraising efforts, developing and implementing strategic plans, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet departmental goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners
  • Lead a team of fundraising professionals to achieve target goals
  • Collaborate with the Director of Advocacy and Communications on advocacy initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fundraising
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in senior management roles in the non-profit sector
  • Strong knowledge of the public and private sectors, with a focus on fundraising and development
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve high performance
  • Previous experience in a feminist social service environment
  • Fluency in relevant computer software programs, including fundraising database programs
