Director of Philanthropy Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Philanthropy Department to join our senior management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing all Philanthropy Department functions within the Association in support of our strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve target goals
  • Provide direction, support, and training to fundraising volunteers
  • Collaborate with the Director of Advocacy and Communications on advocacy initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong alliances with stakeholders and partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fundraising and philanthropy
Requirements:
  • Experience at a senior management level in a non-profit sector
  • Proven success in fundraising and philanthropy with a strong knowledge of the public and private sectors
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to high performance
  • Previous experience in a feminist social service environment
  • Knowledge of another culture and/or a second language is an asset
