Director of Philanthropy Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Philanthropy Department to join our senior management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing all Philanthropy Department functions within the Association in support of our strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve target goals
  • Provide direction, support, and training to fundraising volunteers
  • Participate in advocacy initiatives to improve services for women and children
  • Forge strong alliances in a fast-paced environment and motivate others to high performance

Requirements:

  • Experience at a senior management level
  • Proven success in the non-profit sector with strong knowledge of the public and private sectors
  • Previous experience in a feminist social service environment
  • Knowledge of another culture and/or a second language would be an asset
  • Fluency in a variety of relevant computer software programs in a Windows environment
