Job Title: Data Scientist
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our CBS Analytics team at Colgate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth for Colgate Palmolive through data-driven insights and predictive modeling.
Key Responsibilities
• Conceptualize and build predictive modeling, simulations, and optimization solutions for clear objectives and measured value.
• Lead CBS Analytics projects within the Analytics Continuum, managing relationships independently with Business and driving projects such as Price Promotion, Marketing Mix and Forecasting.
• Apply machine learning techniques to build inferential and predictive models, allowing for scalable solutions to be deployed across the business.
Qualifications
• Graduation/Masters in Statistics/Applied Mathematics/Computer Science.
• 3+ years of experience in building data models and driving insights, with hands-on experience on developing statistical models and coding languages such as Python, R, SQL, PySpark, SparkR.
• Knowledge of using GitHub, Airflow for coding and model executions, as well as tools like Tableau, Domo, Power BI and web apps framework using plotly, pydash, sql.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with third-party data, such as syndicated market data and Point of Sales.
• Working knowledge of consumer packaged goods industry and machine learning techniques, such as clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.
