About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our Information Technology team at Colgate-Palmolive. As a Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and setting governance around all visualization tools, including DOMO, Sigma, Google Studio, Tableau, and Smartsheet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting existing tools in the organization, responding to support tickets, and addressing issues.
  • Educating users on standard methodologies and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization.
  • Recommending and participating in the evaluation of new tools or technologies to improve current architecture or design.
  • Collaborating, coordinating, and communicating across disciplines, departments, and segments.
  • Building and updating documentation for the purposes of architectural governance and support for the tools that are used.

About You:

We are looking for a highly technical and innovative individual with hands-on experience in supporting visualization tools. You should have a strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing principles, as well as the ability to handle complexity and provide customers with simple solutions.
