We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Job Overview

This is a full-time 3 month minimum assignment at a Long-Term Care facility where you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting in the overall management of patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, utilizing a trauma-informed approach.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Lead training/counseling groups.
  • Initial and ongoing assessments throughout treatment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications
  • Valid LPN license with BCCNM required.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Adults Sector.
  • CPR Level C.
  • Immunization Schedule.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on experience.
