At HLT Construction Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs. This includes advising managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements. The ideal candidate will also plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies, administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs, and coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs. Additionally, the Human Resources Coordinator will respond to employee questions and complaints, recruit and hire staff, and propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures. The role also involves supporting newcomers and refugees, developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities, and applying hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities. The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week and will be fluent in English.
