Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team at CEFA Early Learning Victoria - Douglas. As a Child Development Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Requirements
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification
  • Immunization records
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
