Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at CEFA Early Learning Victoria - Douglas. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Immunization records.
