Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at CEFA Early Learning Victoria - Douglas. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will assist in the implementation of educational programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and preparing crafts.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience is an asset.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records required.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. As a team player, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
