Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to join our team at Select People Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supervising a team of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate daily operations and monitor department performance
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
  • Supervise staff and ensure transport compliance with regulations
  • Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in logistics, materials, and supply chain management
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail and judgement
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and organized
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour work week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to relocate. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a health care plan and free parking.
