Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including housekeeping supervisors and housekeeping attendants.
    • Provide guidance and training to housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to housekeeping operations.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that we have the necessary resources to maintain our high standards.
    • Coordinate the ordering and delivery of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
  • Guest Services
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping services.
    • Work with other departments to resolve any issues that may impact guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35 to 40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
