Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including housekeeping supervisors and crews.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact the quality of our service.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Manage the inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that we have the necessary resources to maintain our high standards.
    • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities.
  • Guest Services
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Work with other departments to ensure that guest needs are met and exceeded.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on housekeeping operations and performance.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of staff performance, training, and development.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail.
