We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join our team as Medical Director at Highlands Animal Hospital in North Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional veterinary care to our patients, utilizing your expertise to deliver the best possible outcomes.
- Oversee medical cases, ensuring accurate estimates and positive outcomes for our veterinary doctors.
- Review and enhance medical protocols as needed, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and exceptional client service, promoting a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with hospital management and leadership to review financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in recruiting qualified Veterinarians, including externships, referrals, and career fairs.
- Proven experience leading a team of veterinary professionals in addressing changes and improvements to medical protocols.
- Dedication to promoting team-based medicine practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, pet owners, and the community.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring capabilities, with experience teaching, coaching, and guiding rotating internship students.
- Competitive annual salary range of $95,000 to $150,000.
