Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to fill the role of Medical Director at Highlands Animal Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing veterinary expertise, overseeing medical cases, and reviewing and enhancing protocols to ensure positive outcomes and accurate estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality veterinary care to patients
  • Oversee medical cases for veterinary doctors to ensure positive outcomes and accurate estimates
  • Review and enhance protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Create a culture of teamwork and exceptional client service
  • Participate in recruiting qualified Veterinarians and reviewing financial performance and general operations
Qualifications
  • Experience leading a team of veterinary professionals in addressing changes and/or improvements to medical protocols
  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, pet owners, and the community
