Digital Access Manager for Nova Scotia Health

We are seeking a skilled Digital Access Manager to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of user access management programs for our province-wide system.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT/IM services, programs, and applications, with a minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience. A Master's degree in health administration, leadership, or a related field is an asset. Certification in areas such as health information management systems (CPHIMS) or organizational change management is also beneficial.
As a Digital Access Manager, you will work closely with multiple groups to support timely provisioning and revocation of access privileges, ensuring the security of NSH and patient information. You will be responsible for monitoring, summarizing, and communicating progress to leadership team members, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop strategy and processes to streamline user access provisioning and deprovisioning.

About the OpportunityNova Scotia Health is committed to providing high-quality care to our patients. As part of our One Person One Record (OPOR) strategy, we are implementing a new Clinical Information System (CIS) across the province. This system will include the rationalization of disparate systems, requiring a robust User Access Management Strategy to ensure secure and timely access to patients' information.
The OPOR User Access Manager reports to the OPOR Director, Technology and Integration, and oversees a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of user access management programs for the province-wide system.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience in IT/IM services, programs, and applications.
