Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate special events such as weddings, corporate functions, and holiday parties;
- Determine the size of food portions and costs, maintaining accurate records;
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management;
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting safe food practices;
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations;
You will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with varying temperatures and exposure to allergens and heavy loads. Regular overtime may be required to meet high demand periods.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen setting;
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills;
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
- Certificate or diploma in culinary arts is an asset.
- A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience;
