Insurance Account Manager

HUB International Ontario Limited is seeking a highly skilled Personal Insurance Account Manager to join our Oakville office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing an existing book of business, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of an existing book of business, including client relationships and account management.
- Handle incoming and outgoing client query calls, as well as priority mail, to ensure timely and effective communication.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet new business and retention targets, including re-marketing and cross-selling opportunities.
- Act on cross-sell opportunities and obtain referrals to drive business growth.
- Upsell existing clients through regular touch base calls and proactive mid-renewal calls.
- Provide effective and efficient customer service to verbal and written inquiries, resolving client concerns and complaints in a timely manner.
- Input and update customer data and document all customer interactions.
- Maintain acceptable accounts receivable and underwriting knowledge of each market, utilizing portals for policy changes and inquiries.
- Assist in training junior team members as required.
- Rate and quote new and renewal personal lines risks.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and company procedures, participating in training and education seminars to further knowledge.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in the insurance industry, preferably within Personal Lines.
- RIBO license required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel).
- Experience with EPIC broker management system an asset.
