Overview:

In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between business strategy and outcomes by providing actionable insights through data reporting. You will collaborate with clients to develop analytics strategies tailored to their unique needs, leveraging their data assets and tools while ensuring the long-term effectiveness of the solution. Your technical skills will enable you to guide data engineers and analysts, but you won't hesitate to roll up your sleeves and handle complex queries or dashboard creation when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with internal sales teams, external partners, and leadership to lead pre-sales conversations and deliver impactful solutions.
  • You will help clients identify key performance indicators that align with their business objectives and assist them in collecting relevant data to support those metrics.
  • You will gather requirements from clients regarding the technical and analytical aspects of their data needs.
  • You will possess deep technical knowledge to effectively explain tool capabilities and navigate specific functions within various systems.
  • You will provide detailed requirements for visualizations to data analysts, enabling them to create reports and dashboards that present critical metrics in an optimal manner.
  • Based on your experience in developing strategic plans, you will establish best practices and processes for metrics, data management, and visualization where applicable.
  • You may be required to manage direct and indirect reports, working within a matrixed global organization.

    Work Breakdown:

    • 25%: Client interaction, requirement gathering, progress updates, and deliverables.
    • 25%: Data strategy development – identifying suitable metrics, data architecture, and sources to achieve business goals.
    • 25%: Pre-sales engagements with Decision Foundry to drive opportunities for reporting and insights projects using Salesforce tools like Marketing Intelligence, CRM Analytics, Tableau, and data engineering platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure, along with ETL tools like Mulesoft and Fivetran.
    • 15%: Providing thought leadership to enhance conversation around reporting best practices.
    • 10%: Identifying growth opportunities for personal and professional development.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of seven years of business experience in analytics, revenue operations, consulting, and/or enterprise software is required, with demonstrated stakeholder management abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to provide timely, reliable, and courteous service.
    • The ability to effectively present information.
    • Eligibility to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the Data Engineering & Business Intelligence ecosystem.
    • Several Salesforce certifications.

    Benefits:

    • Hybrid work setup.
    • For Canada-based roles, the base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000, plus a discretionary bonus.
    • Additional benefits include subsidized medical, dental, 401k with match, insurance, and other options.
