About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Starlink Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Growth: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Starlink customers through regular communication and proactive support. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to introduce customers to new Starlink products or service enhancements.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively. Gather customer requirements and work with internal teams to iterate on and improve EnerStar integrated solutions to support client needs.
  • Meet or Exceed Revenue Targets: We are a results-focused organization, and the ideal candidate will be an experienced account executive and sales professional with a demonstrated track record of identifying new opportunities, communicating a technical value proposition, overcoming obstacles, and closing business.
  • Prospect and Identify New Business Opportunities: Work in partnership with our internal leaders and teams to demonstrate our overall integrated solutions and ensure customer alignment.
  • Drive Sales Process to Closure: Secure new corporate, government, and NGO customers by establishing relationships with key decision makers, understanding their current and future connectivity needs, and partnering to find the right EnerStar solutions for them.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest Starlink products, services, and promotions to effectively advise customers on opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., technical support, sales engineering) to provide seamless customer service.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: Required;
  • 3-5 Years Sales Experience in Technology or Telecommunications: With a documented track record of achieving revenue goals and delivering customer satisfaction;
  • Demonstrated Track Record for Government Sales and Relationship Management: At provincial and federal levels;
  • Fluency in English and French: Required;
  • Expert-Level Understanding of Solution Selling or Challenger Sales Methodology: Required;
  • Use of CRM Systems to Engage Prospects and Build Pipeline: Required;
  • Customer-Focused with a Passion for Delivering Excellent Service: Required;
  • Technical Aptitude and Ability to Quickly Learn and Understand Complex Products: Required;
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Required;
  • Results-Driven and Goal-Oriented Mindset: Required;

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $160,000, comprised of base salary and uncapped commissions.
