About the Job
This Human Resources Administrator role supports the Computacenter Canada Inc. entity with HR-related responsibilities and projects. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the HR function.
Responsibilities
- Respond to internal and external HR inquiries and requests, providing assistance or directing them to appropriate staff.
- Represent the HR team and collaborate with other departments on designated topics, following up as necessary.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records, conducting periodic audits as required.
- Handle ad-hoc requests within the HR team, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity, ensuring timely completion.
- Liaise with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate tracking of employee data, facilitating seamless integration.
- Conduct new hire orientations specific to Canada, ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and currency, collaborating with Senior HR Assistants.
- Work closely with the Senior HR Benefits Consultant on leave of absences and benefits administration specific to Canada.
- Liaise with Human Resources Business Partners to support their respective business areas, driving alignment.
- Understand human resources policies and ensure they are current, working closely with Legal and HR Manager to ensure compliance.
- Maintain the People page on the intranet for all updates related to Canada, keeping stakeholders informed.
- Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and align with Winning Together values, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Business Administration or a relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management is a plus or equivalent recent experience.
- Experience and understanding of leave of absence and benefits administration in Canada.
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (SAP, ADP, SuccessFactors).
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Proven experience as an HR administrator or a relevant human resources/administrative position.
- A working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
- Strong ability to use MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle data with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail. Team-oriented working and thinking.
