Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at ASCENDIFY TECHNOLOGIES LTD. as an Office Coordinator. This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Operations
- Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Review and evaluate existing administrative procedures to ensure they are effective and up-to-date.
- Delegate work to office support staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including data entry and report preparation.
- Policy Administration
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
- Training and Development
- Train staff on new procedures and policies to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities.
- Support Services
- Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software.
