Job Title: Corporate Event Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Event Coordinator to join our team at Diya Decor ltd. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in event planning.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing event logistics, planning and overseeing webinars, and supervising office and volunteer staff. Key tasks include administering revenues and expenditures, preparing financial reports, developing risk management plans, and recruiting staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer revenues and expenditures
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Develop risk management plans
  • Promote conference and meeting services
  • Develop emergency security plans
  • Inspect and select sites
  • Develop marketing and communication plans
  • Develop media strategies and public relations activities
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Prepare, present and manage budgets
  • Develop financial procedures
  • Develop sponsorship, partnership or fundraising programs
  • Solicit event donors
  • Review bids and negotiate costs
  • Arrange for production or purchase of promotional products
  • Arrange for shipping, receiving and storage
  • Assist in budget preparation
  • Coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities and attend to related details
  • Coordinate media services
  • Coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems and other details for special events
  • Implement social programs, food and beverage, transportation, and other services
  • Set up and monitor, or arrange for the setting up and monitoring of multi-media equipment
  • Plan schedules, goals and objectives
  • Plan for required documentation and for pre- and post-distribution of documentation
  • Research and design special events programs
  • Plan for VIP arrangements
  • Plan for translation and interpretation services
  • Plan for social events and guest programs
  • Develop policies and procedures and attend to other management responsibilities
  • Manage Event Logistics
  • Plan and oversee Webinars
  • Develop and implement business plans
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
