Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction/Engineering Field Inspector to join our Contract Administration Division. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting field inspections at construction sites throughout Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with contract documents, quality, and safety standards.
  • Interpret contract drawings and specifications to identify potential issues.
  • Verify quantities, prepare progress reports, and maintain documentation.
  • Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the team.

Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in engineering and construction inspection works.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.

Experience

  • Junior Inspector: 1-3 years of related work experience.
  • Senior Inspector: 3-5 years of experience in structural, watermain, asphalt, and/or grade inspection on MTO or municipal projects.
