Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect machined and fabricated products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor in-process jobs to prevent non-conformance issues and ensure timely completion.
  • Inspect items received from sub-contracted processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documents, such as certificates of compliance and dimensional reports, as per customer requirements.
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and monitoring of ISO 9001 policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with customers and vendors regarding quality issues and provide technical support as needed.
Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience in a machine and fabrication shop environment or engineering department of a manufacturer with heavy machining capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and working to quality standards.
  • Ability to interpret blue print drawings and accurately read various measuring tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
