About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Regional Trainer to join our team at Hub International Canada West ULC (Canada West). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our commercial producers and support staff have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and improve work processes, procedures, and training materials to ensure our commercial producers and support staff have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed.
  • Work on projects as a subject matter expert to implement new tools and improve existing tool use and processes.
  • Provide support for M&A, including onsite support during go-live.
  • Assist in the audit review and recommendation implementation.
  • Provide training and support to new and experienced commercial producers and support staff.
A Day in the Life

As a Commercial Lines Regional Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering training sessions, both in-person and remotely, to ensure our commercial producers and support staff have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed. You will also be responsible for updating and improving work processes, procedures, and training materials to ensure our commercial producers and support staff have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed.

Requirements
  • 5-10 years of insurance industry experience servicing a complex commercial insurance book of business.
  • CAIB Designation preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of desktop applications, including Applied EPIC, Applied toolset, Microsoft suite, and Learning management systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance and insurance brokerage operations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on motivational skills and positive attitude.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to travel when needed between training locations.
