The Opportunity
The Commercial Lines Regional Trainer works closely with the Team Leader and regional training team to ensure our commercial producers and support staff can fully utilize our commercial toolset, are following HUB standard processes and procedures and are developing insurance knowledge.
In the role you will bring a deep understanding of commercial insurance and processes to:
Update and improve work processes, procedures and training materials.
Provide support for M&A including onsite support during go-live.
Assist in the audit review and recommendation implementation.
Provide training and support to new and experienced commercial producers and support staff.
A day in the life
- Training
Training, remote and in-person bootcamps of assigned individuals registered on the HUB Ready
- Commercial Lines training Path.
Deliver webinar, in person a/o on demand recorded training sessions as per HUB way processes & procedures.
Ensure completion, assess the job readiness of trainees, and provide certificates of completion.
Provide feedback to the trainee and manager.
Provide support or escalation with billing, discrepancies, or user issues,
Assist with training materials development for the LMS
Workflow Design
Help with updating existing workflows and training materials.
Work with the Corporate operations/IT team, and our retail users to identify new tools, improvements and mapping of the systems, inputs/outputs, and core processes in the commercial value chain.
Assist with implementation and reinforcement of audit action items
Projects
Act as SME on new or system change projects to ensure changes and training are implemented effectively.
Assist in ensuring our staff are change ready and assist with post change reinforcement.
Provide M&A training and go-live support.
What you will bring to our team
- 5-10 years of insurance industry experience servicing a complex commercial insurance book of business.
CAIB Designation preferred.
Knowledge of Insurance and Insurance brokerage operations
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on motivational skills and positive attitude
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to travel when needed between training locations required in BC and Alberta.
