At Hub International Canada West ULC (Canada West), we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Regional Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our commercial producers and support staff have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their roles.

The Commercial Lines Regional Trainer will work closely with the Team Leader and regional training team to develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our commercial producers and support staff. This includes updating and improving work processes, procedures, and training materials, as well as providing support for M&A and audit reviews.

As a Commercial Lines Regional Trainer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the development of training materials, the delivery of training sessions, and the provision of support to new and experienced commercial producers and support staff. Key responsibilities of the Commercial Lines Regional Trainer include:

  • Developing and delivering training programs for commercial producers and support staff
  • Updating and improving work processes, procedures, and training materials
  • Providing support for M&A and audit reviews
  • Assisting with the development of training materials and the delivery of training sessions
  • Providing support to new and experienced commercial producers and support staff

Requirements for the Commercial Lines Regional Trainer include:

  • 5-10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial lines
  • CAIB designation preferred
  • Hands-on knowledge of desktop applications, including Applied EPIC, Applied toolset, and Microsoft suite
  • Knowledge of insurance and insurance brokerage operations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivational skills and positive attitude
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Salary expectations for the Commercial Lines Regional Trainer are $55,000.00 to $70,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
