About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Form Carpenter to join our team at Alliance Forming Ltd. As a Form Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand
  • Build and repair wooden frames used to mold concrete products
  • Construct and repair wood or metal supports and structures
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various locations, including high-rise building construction sites
