About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Form Carpenter to join our team at Verdi Structures Inc. as a Construction Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, and constructing and repairing wood or metal supports and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
  • Construct and repair wood or metal supports and structures
Work Environment

As a Form Carpenter at Verdi Structures Inc., you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality projects. You will be required to work at various locations, including construction sites.

Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
