About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Lydia Swift. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and provide personal care, including bathing and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or concerns to the supervisor
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a related field, an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
Work Environment

Our Home Support Workers work in a variety of settings, including private homes and community facilities. You will be required to work in a non-smoking environment and may be required to work overtime, as needed.
