Job Title: Property Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Property Operations Specialist to join our team at Tribe Management. As a key member of our property operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our residential properties.

Job Summary:

The Property Operations Specialist will be responsible for leading the operation of a Tribe-managed building in Dayanee Springs Community in Coquitlam, BC. This is a temporary 6-month full-time position to cover an employee on leave (subject to extension).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Community Manager on all matters relating to the building
  • Prepare and present weekly reports on building operations
  • Conduct daily inspections of building systems, common areas, and grounds to identify potential issues
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the building
  • Manage inventory of supplies and arrange for equipment repairs
  • Supervise contracted trades and schedule ad hoc and emergency trades
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Enforce Strata bylaws and rules
  • Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Experience as a caretaker in a Strata-owned condo building is an asset
  • Working knowledge of building systems is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills, including Gmail, MS Excel, and MS Word
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Capable of performing physical duties
  • Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle is an asset
