Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Establish work schedules

Work Environment:

Our team is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of staff members and customers. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and ensuring that all food is prepared and served to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience

Work Setting:

Food service establishment

Supervision:

Food service counter attendants and food preparers

Government Programs:

Recognized employer

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 30 hours per week
