We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Indian Hut. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they are meeting the required standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and establish work schedules to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
