About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants. Additionally, they will advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, review candidate inventories, and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Candidate Management: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
  • Coordination and Administration: Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, notify applicants of results of selection process, and prepare job offers.
  • Staffing Policies and Procedures: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes, and co-ordinate termination of employment process.
Work Environment and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be organized, and possess a client-focused approach. They will also have experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be able to work under pressure. A high level of attention to detail is required, as well as the ability to supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
