About the Opportunity

This role is an integral part of the Squamish Nation's Squamish Valley Operations Department, reporting to the Director, Squamish Valley Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director, including preparing reports, tracking statistics, and coordinating day-to-day administrative functions. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing information flow, coordinating meetings, and maintaining the Director's calendar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Director, including preparing reports and tracking statistics.
  • Coordinate day-to-day administrative functions, including managing information flow and coordinating meetings.
  • Maintain the Director's calendar and ensure timely and accurate communication.
  • Develop and implement administrative processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide project management expertise and support to the Director regarding the referral management system.

Requirements

  • Combination of education and experience in administration or a related field.
  • Professional, adaptable communication style with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and integrity.
  • Maintains composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Able to disseminate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Resourceful and organized with excellent time management abilities.

The Squamish Nation offers a comprehensive benefits program and a competitive salary range of $76,499 - $85,634 annually.
