Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and providing leadership and coaching to our team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Lead the culinary team to maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of new team members, ensuring a strong fit with our company culture and values.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Standard First Aid and Food Handlers certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to lift items up to 30lbs and remain physically active throughout the shift.
