Job Summary
Lone Star Texas Grill is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement menu plans and inventory management strategies.
- Supervise and train a team of prep cooks, line cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
