Transform Oracle's Infrastructure

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on the foundation of Oracle NetSuite's infrastructure, tackling challenges in scalability, concurrency, high availability, and service infrastructure definition and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate feature specifications into technical design documents and implement resulting designs.
  • Develop the core framework for provisioning, configuring, and managing Oracle NetSuite Service Infrastructure within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Understand distributed architectures and work with services that need to function seamlessly across multiple data centers in different geographies and time zones.
  • Understand the requirements of multiple product teams to effectively develop tooling that assists them in meeting their goals and delivering associated product features.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
  • Experience provisioning, deploying, and managing complex application deployments in IaaS environments (Amazon EC2, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud).
  • Familiarity with tools and processes for Infrastructure as Code, including SaltStack and Terraform.
  • Experience designing, architecting, and building scalable multi-tier systems.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical detail in clear and simple terms to various audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to analyze, diagnose, and resolve unexpected behavior in complex, distributed systems.
  • Experience building, testing, and maintaining cloud systems written in Java, Scala, or Python (or other scripting language).
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment frameworks and strategies, such as Jenkins.
  • Comfortable analyzing complex problems at all levels of the stack, on both client and server (OS, Network, JVM, Application/Browser/CLI, Storage).
  • Passion for high-quality code.
  • Interest and enthusiasm for new technologies that can be applied to large-scale cloud systems.
