Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Municipal Project Manager/Engineer to join our Kitchener, ON office. As a key member of our municipal design team, you will be responsible for leading projects in the delivery of infrastructure projects to customers primarily within the municipal water, wastewater and stormwater sector.

Responsibilities
  • Lead existing municipal technical design staff on projects including sewer and watermain design/replacement/reconstruction, roadway and intersection improvements, site servicing design, potable water pumping, transmission, storage and distribution systems, and sanitary drainage and pumping.
  • Develop business development strategies, prepare proposals, client liaison and relationship management.
  • Prepare documentation related to current or prospective projects, including correspondence, reports, proposals, expressions of interest, and specifications.
  • Perform Contract Administration duties, including contractor interaction, progress payment certificates and convene progress site meetings.
  • Collaborate with other project team members to provide quality service to clients on projects of varying scope and complexity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or other related discipline plus 8 (eight) years of experience in municipal civil engineering design and CAD.
  • P. Eng designation in Ontario.
  • Design experience in surface grading, water and sewer pipe networks and detail design.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 15+ years of related experience in municipal civil engineering design and CAD.
  • Experience in Stormwater Management procedures and design.
  • Transportation design/reconstruction projects experience.
  • Familiarity with software for modeling water transmission/distribution systems.
Benefits

AECOM offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
