Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the capabilities of our Azure environment and internal systems used to support the day-to-day operation of D2L and its employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation solutions to stabilize and standardize our environment, increasing the speed of service delivery to employees.
  • Manage the automation pipelines for software maintenance and security on servers, laptops, and internal systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and utilize integrations between products, supporting a world-class Product-Led Growth motion.
  • Monitor Azure Cloud and internal networks performance and availability, ensuring timely fault resolution.
  • Ensure infrastructure performance, uptime, and security by design, following best practices and capacity planning.
  • Automate and script manual tasks related to routine tasks, release, and deployment activities using available tools.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with cloud-based infrastructure hosting (Azure preferred).
  • Experience configuring and administering MDM Solutions, Active Directory, Office 365, SCCM.
  • Proven experience with monitoring infrastructure and troubleshooting outages.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced networking security and design.
