Job Summary:

The Transitional Support Worker is responsible for managing a caseload of youth and assisting them in their transition into independence. You will also assess, teach, and enhance the independent living skills of teens in the program.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Diploma/degree in Child Youth Care, Social Work, or related field

  • Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture, customs, and beliefs
  • Good understanding of health issues affecting youth and adults
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work well independently and in a team environment
What We Offer:
  • Salary Range: $49,856.00 - $55,856.00 annually
  • 3-weeks' vacation accrual to start with an additional week added after 2 years
  • 100% employer-paid health benefits package
  • 100% employer-paid R.R.S.P. equaling 3% of gross salary
