Job Summary:

The Transitional Support Worker is responsible for managing a caseload of youth and assisting them in their transition into independence. This involves providing direct supervision, support, and advocacy to youth, ensuring positive relationships occur while addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs. You will also assess, teach, and enhance the independent living skills of teens in the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of youth and assist them in their transition into independence

Requirements:
  • Diploma/degree in Child Youth Care, Social Work, or related field
  • Previous experience working with youth and case management
  • Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture, customs, and beliefs
  • Good understanding of health issues affecting youth and adults
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work well independently and in a team environment
What We Offer:
  • Salary Range: $49,856.00 - $55,856.00 annually
  • 3-weeks' vacation accrual to start with an additional week added after 2 years
  • 100% employer-paid health benefits package
  • 100% employer-paid R.R.S.P. equaling 3% of gross salary
