Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Support Worker to join our team at Transitions Care. As a key member of our home care and visiting care agency, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines to promote physical activity and mobility.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies to ensure a smooth operation of our care facilities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train for the role.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job with a temporary work term. You will work 30 to 40 hours per week and communicate with patients in English.
