Job Summary

Mount Norquay is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Food Handling and Storage: Keep records of food quantities used, package take-out food, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and provide exceptional customer service.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

As a Food Service Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
