MARCHÉ D'ALIMENTATION COREEN MTL is seeking a skilled Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and portion food items according to menu specifications
    • Load buspans and trays with food and condiments
    • Replenish supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
    • Scour pots and pans
    • Keep records of food quantities used
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    • Sharpen kitchen knives
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods
    • Ability to handle heavy loads
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

MARCHÉ D'ALIMENTATION COREEN MTL is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will be required to work in a team-oriented setting and be able to multitask in a busy kitchen environment.

Language

The primary language of communication in this role is English or French.
