Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at From Play To Words Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work with clients and their families to set speech goals, provide direct service, consultation, mediation, and education to maximize a child's function in areas such as articulation difficulties, motor speech disorders, language delays, and learning disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with clients and their families to set speech goals with targeted, measurable outcomes
  • Provide direct service, consultation, mediation, and education to client, family, and community providers
  • Utilize research to establish and support evidence-based practice
  • Provision of in-school consultations to parents and/or teachers as needed
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Canadian Speech Language Pathologist Therapist Program
  • Registered or eligible to be registered with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
  • Minimum one (1) year clinical experience
  • PROMPT training is an asset
