Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Elves Special Needs Society, a non-profit organization and Private School accredited by Alberta Education.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing children and youth with speech and language delays, developing and implementing individualized communication programs, and collaborating with the Assistive Technology Team to provide evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children and youth for purposes of diagnosis and treatment
  • Develop and implement individualized communication programs
  • Collaborate with the Assistive Technology Team to provide evidence-based interventions
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Speech and Language Pathology Assistants
  • Assist classroom staff in developing and implementing individualized communication programs
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
  • Experience working with children and youth with severe disabilities and augmentative communication systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills
