Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at 1974772 Ontario Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Negotiate with clients for catering and facility use
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and maintain computer and technology skills, including MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word
  • Ensure security and safety protocols are in place, including criminal record checks
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and be available to work overtime as needed
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and guidance to team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
