Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at 1974772 Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Address customer complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows
