We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at 1974772 Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising and training staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Manage Inventory: Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Negotiate with Clients: Assist in negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including addressing customer complaints and concerns.
  • Plan and Organize: Assist in planning and organizing daily operations, including scheduling staff and managing inventory.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and perform overtime as required.
